A yearly visit to Black Island Farm is a must. And I'm so glad Bennett's preschool went on a little field trip there. I pulled Kambri out of school (it's just kindergarten right?) and we headed there on a lovely rainy day. However right after we pulled up it stopped raining and even though I probably needed some galoshes for the mud, it turned out to be a pretty nice day! This is Bennett's little class with his fantastic teacher Miss Michelle!
Bennett and his little buddies from his class, Noah, Jaigon, and Davis. Such cute guys. This is one of the reasons I miss Riverdale. All of the little kids in the neighborhood we left, he sure has fun at preschool with them.
The lovely tour guide (a kid that was talking about the vegetation and blah blah blah to a bunch of 3 year olds) had the kids check out some of the carrots from the fields. We peeled one and ate it and it was yummy!
And here are the great pumpkins that my kiddos picked out. Kambri wanted to smallest she could find and Bennett the biggest. Brynn just wanted to be able to carry that pumpkin around with her. She tried her hardest.
All four of her classes with their pumpkins. She has 32 students yikes!
Once we got back it was nice weather and the kids had so much fun playing on all of the toys and slides. They really had a blast just running around doing whatever they wanted. We had such a great time. Maybe next year we can get Brandon to go so we can show him how fun it is!
